A rough, self-shot Pilates video posted in 2009 so her students wouldn't lose touch became YouTube's top fitness channel, then a patented activewear line worn by Taylor Swift and Lizzo.

About Cassey Ho: American Fitness Instructor & Fashion Entrepreneur

Cassey Ho was born in Los Angeles and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, the daughter of parents who expected her to become a doctor or lawyer. She went to Whittier College on a full scholarship intending to study medicine, graduating in 2009 with a biology degree, and moved to Boston for a job as a fashion buyer. Missing the Pilates students she taught part-time back home, she posted her first workout video — 'POP Pilates: Total Body Sculpt' — to a new YouTube channel called Blogilates so they could still follow along; the audio and editing were rough, but the comments kept coming. Nine months later she quit the fashion job, taught Pilates classes twelve times a week to cover rent, and kept filming in her spare time. By 2012 the channel had crossed 166,000 subscribers; by 2014, Blogilates was the top fitness channel on YouTube. She launched her first activewear line, Bodypop, in 2014, followed by her apparel brand POPFLEX in 2016, whose patented designs have since been worn by celebrities including Taylor Swift and Lizzo. In 2025 she launched a second, Target-exclusive apparel line under the Blogilates name. She was named to Time's 25 Most Influential People on the Internet in 2017 and has spoken publicly about design patent theft in the fashion industry.
